Thanks for posting this. We were amazed this afternoon when our water flowed out brown! Multi-Pure really made the difference for us. It was a big reminder why we use our filter -- so I just had to take a picture and send it on.
I've been using that Model 500 since 1991, and other than replacing an O-Ring one time (for about 5 bucks if I remember correctly) it's been chugging along beautifully.
Yes, the Multi-Pure systems are far and away the best, which is why I became a distributor and mention Multi-Pure every chance I get. My 20 year Multi-Pure anniversary is coming up in 2011, and I'm still very proud to be a part of the "family."
